Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in WEST CHICAGO, Illinois. In this role, you'll be tasked with a range of responsibilities from preparing invoices to maintaining accurate financial records.Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of invoices ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct regular reviews of financial records for precision. Engage with different departments to rectify any billing discrepancies. Ensure payments are made in a timely manner and follow up on any delayed payments. Utilize accounting software systems effectively for all billing functions. Perform tasks related to accounts receivable as required. Code invoices accurately based on the established guidelines. Maintain a thorough understanding of computerized billing processes and systems. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions if discrepancies are found. Utilize billing software for efficient and accurate billing processes.
