Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in South Elgin, Illinois, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing financial records, dealing with customer queries, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.Responsibilities: Accurately manage customer financial records Efficiently deal with customer inquiries, providing timely and appropriate responses Utilize QuickBooks for financial management tasks Use Microsoft Office Suites to maintain organized and clear records Monitor customer accounts and conduct necessary actions in response to any issues Process credit applications from customers with precision and speed Ensure all customer data is up-to-date and accurate.Requirements Proficiency in English language for effective communication Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel and Word Extensive knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of accounting principles Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion Minimum of a high school diploma in accounting or related field; higher degree or certification preferred Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and team members.
