Vacancy expired!
- Client schools and Student Transportation Services (STS) currently work in Microsoft Access to process a number of process-related Transportation Request Forms. This outdated platform limits visibility, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
- Integration of these processes and forms into the District's Student Information System (Aspen) will allow for school and family access/ involvement and allow for Client support and process-flow improvements to best suit the district.
- As of now, the highest transportation request transactional processes have been built using Aspen's workflow toolset. We want to build out the remaining request processes into this workflow toolset.
- The Business Analyst for this project will need to have a deep understanding of the District's Transportation request processes.
- We expect this position to deliver a requirements document that not only details the proposed business processes but helps architect those business processes within the Aspen SIS environment.
- This means the requirement document will be ready for development (by a separate party). This position will also be responsible for developing and executing a QA plan for the workflow deliverables.
- Moving Forms Processing into Aspen and updating the process flow to allow schools/parents to directly enter a request and view status of request. Requests in scope include:
- Stop Change, Day Care, Head Start, NCLB, Sibling, Park and Safety Hazard.
- All of the above processes will become Aspen workflow processes with eligibility determination logic.
- This consultant role will need to provide business and technical requirements (developer ready) for the following transportation request processes: Stop Change, Day Care, Head Start, NCLB, Sibling, Park and Safety Hazard.
- The position will also be responsible for development and execution of the test plan for each process.
