Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery AnalystNo SPONSORSHIPBusiness Continuity & Disaster Recovery Analyst IITeam member will assess processes to identify gaps in business processes and help with the design and documentation of processes to address the gaps to guide compliance with the program goals.
  • Work with business teams across the global organization to build the ES Business Continuity Management program framework, extending processes to help business partners identify, availability, risk and manage mitigation to an acceptable level.
  • Assist in determining and evaluating the current state of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning
  • Identify changes required to improve BC and DR plans and validate those changes with live tabletop exercises with various areas of the global business.
  • Work with teams to ensure BC and DR plans are viable and meet Internal Audit and regulatory compliance obligations.

  • Support and improve the BC and DR document repository.
  • Work to maintain the BCM Intranet website and other communication channels and repositories.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in Disaster Recovery program and testing.
  • Assist with setting up, conducting, and reviewing the Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of BC and DR training programs
  • Create and maintain team documentation for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Update and maintain business facing training materials.
  • Provide support for the Business Continuity Automated Notification system use, training, and maintenance.
  • Assist in reporting, analytics and standing up metrics for BC and DR planning and testing.

  • Provide input to Business Continuity Management processing developing controls needed for the mitigation of risks for business processes which are not compliant with information security and risk frameworks.
  • Assist other team members within the business organization in assessing risk, developing appropriate controls, and advising on creation of action plans to address gaps.
  • Collaboratively works to influence and socialize strategies, standards, procedures, communications, and governance.
  • Deployment and measurement of security awareness efforts
  • Align individual goals to team goals with OKRs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in providing advice to global business units regarding compliance with applicable frameworks including ISO 22301, 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) and standards including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other frameworks and standards.

You Have:
  • 3-6 years industry experience
  • College degree or equivalent with emphasis on Computer Science courses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Experience with OneTrust helpful
  • Experience with project management
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Preferred
  • Experience working with ISO 22301, 27001, ISO 27005 (or similar) security framework, NIST RMF standards in operational IT environment
  • Operational experience in applying risk frameworks to technologies (including cloud, containers) and processes (including DevOps and Agile software deployment) helpful
  • Can work in a collaborative team environment
