Looking for a qualified Senior System Analyst to ensure quality delivery of end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess excellent background on extracting; transforming and loading data into the warehouse.The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will work on the following: 1.BRD assessment / evaluation / feedback (if applicable)2.High level solution / design (big picture, design for future)3.Performing Analysis4.Completing all required SA deliverables for the project5.Follow SA process and checklists6.Support throughout the entire SDLC process (DEV, PV, UAT) until validation completed in production7.Review all project deliverables from other areas (DEV, PV, UAT) and provide feedbacka.Examples: Deployment guide, Test Plan/Approach for all environments and Test Scenarios8.Data profiling9.Validations in PLT / PROD10.Attending all the project meetings11.SME knowledge on project12.Planning and estimating for future releases while supporting past releases and delivering on work for current release13.Roadmap involvement14.Assessments of project scope and timelines15.Involved in the intake of the requirements to ensure that the requirements are feasible given the company’s technology stack16.Gaps are highlighted and filled if possible17.Translate requirements into technical documents which describe what the development team is expected to build18.Troubleshoot issues when they arise. In situations where old tickets are being analyzed the SA is expected to be capable of presenting a clear and concise analysis of the issue with examples that support the analysis. Expected to propose solutions to the issues19.Generally the SA is involved in building applications on top of a given technology stack. However, there are projects which involve upgrading or changing the technology stack which have a heavy involvement of the SA group

Requirements: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with the following: 1.Working in the following areas:a.Data Warehousing and ETLb.Data Martsc.Data Profilingd. Data Modelinge.Data Quality Analysis2.Modeling Dimensional Databases and Data Marts (includes physical and logical models)3.Writing complex SQL and stored procedures (DB2 preferred); translating specifications and rules into SQL4.Working with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred)5.Interpreting and writing source to target mappings (ETL transformation rules)6.Working with string and data manipulation functions and macros with Microsoft Excel7.Metadata management and data governance8.Creating and maintaining data dictionaries9.Maintaining and interpreting data lineages10.Ability to speak to the various aspect of the SDLC11.Ability to draw out high-level and detailed designs and represent them as flow diagrams (preferably using Visio)12.Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications13.Ability to look at the given system/solution from a tool/technology-agnostic perspective and document deterministic rules / behavior in pseudo-code14.Ability to design end-to-end data warehousing / reporting solutions using components like databases, ETL tools and reporting frameworks15.Ability to provide time estimations for SA activities for a project based on the design16.Ability to work closely with Development, PV and UAT teams to provide them the required support17.Ability to perform and provide a detailed system impact analysis for a given change request and provide estimates18.Able to lead junior SA persons and possibly provide feedback on multiple projects

    • Nice to have: a.Experience with working on DB2 and Postgres Databasesb.Experience working with PHI & PII and sensitive datac.Knowledge about ETL tools (preferably Ab Initio)d.Knowledge about other Ab Initio tools like Query>IT, MDH, BRE etc.e.Knowledge about business intelligence / analytics / tool experience – Cognos/Tableauf.Knowledge about medical and Rx claims processing, healthcare enrollments and providersg.Knowledge and understanding of security standards

    Qualification:

    Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technologies

    Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technologies
