My Pharmaceutical cleint is seeking an SAP MM & FI Business Systems Analyst for their Waukegan office location.

Applicants must be local to the Chicagoland area as this role is expected to be on-site 3 days per week

Qualifications

  • Expertise in SAP Material Management and strong integration knowledge with SAP FI and CO, Quality Management, and SAP BW.
  • Understanding of the digital technologies and connection of SAP with digital platforms through various data sharing mechanisms
  • Experience reviewing and streamlining business processes, including gathering and documenting business requirements, and developing and implementing new processes and procedures. Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to end-users at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Champions the accuracy of the spend and translates procure to pay and accounts payable data from SAP HANA to Sievo for spend management and category management business objectives.
  • Understands SAP Vendor lifecycle that includes vendor onboarding to vendor retirement, Vendor evaluation, Vendor payment terms on vendor master, purchase orders, and overall procure to pay cycle.
  • Must have a fair understanding of the "procure to pay" process and its data structures to hold a meaningful conversation on payment term business outcomes.
  • Understand the basics of data modeling and create a sustainable data model for spend and category management.
  • Understands the business tactics around invoice & payment processing and defines the analytics to drive sustainable change in the decision-making to enhance the weighted average payment terms.
  • Determines the total spend based on SAP AP transactions and reconciles the spend at the general ledger level, and confirms the total spend
  • Works with the finance and procurement community to bring the awareness of the total spend based on the analysis in the source systems and determines an approach to get the transparency on the total spend
  • Documents the business rules and writes the functional documents and builds consensus through engaging meetings and workshops.
  • Works with the application, digital transformation, and data teams to build standard definitions to build a robust data platform
