Swoon is seeking a Change Business Analyst to focus on Data & Analytics projects for their leading client! The role will be aligned to the D&A team working mainly on the planning and execution of Change Management on D&A Projects. The person who takes this role will be embedded into the D&A team to drive the desired change outcomes. The role will report to the Director Strategic Change & Transformation and be part of the overall Technology Change & Transformation team, utilizing relationships and change resources across the teams. The role will be taking on the Data Literacy Program & Business Relationship Partner (BRP) Programs, but will most likely take on other D&A project work as change management needs arise.

  • The Data Literacy goals is to provide upskilling resources (e.g., learning platforms with curated coursework) across the Global Technology organization and provide new and existing hires with seamless onboarding & learning experience
  • The BRP Programs purpose is to provide a consistent first point of contact for the markets and key corporate functions to the Global Data & Analytics team
General Requirements:
  • Thought partner with the business, serving as a consistent point of contact to ensure alignment, make existing data resources known, and help drive metrics and dashboards to support growth
  • Responsible for planning, crafting, and coordinating meetings with larger teams; Comfortable working with a wide range of partners and various levels of management, demonstrate influencing skills
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and process improvement skills to advance business outcomes
  • Interact with business users and understand their requirements and team dynamics
  • Develop impactful presentations and documents that provide a logical narrative
  • Develop and update user documentation to serve as reference guides
  • Ability to drive work across the finish line without much hand-holding
  • Agile mentality - progress over perfection
  • Willingness to adapt and drive new efforts
  • Creative and open-minded enough to take the role beyond just Change Management
  • Ideally has a background in Tech or interested in/passionate about Tech
  • Preferred: Someone who has had experience with data analytics
Impact Analysis & Change Strategy:
  • Determine the impact that the changes that each of the projects will have on people, processes and systems.
  • Develop a change strategy from results of the impact analysis that supports the change outcomes of the projects
Stakeholder Management:
  • Build a comprehensive stakeholder map identifying key individuals & teams that have a stake in the initiative.
  • Partner with the project manager and team to strategically determine how each of the stakeholders will be managed and by whom
  • Build out a stakeholder management approach that can be executed against including a DAI
Communication and Engagement Plan:
  • Build a holistic communication plan (stakeholders, audiences, etc.)
  • Utilize the stakeholder map to ensure that the right people are informed and engaged on the initiative
  • Identify new / creative ways to communicate updates and key wins to stakeholders.
  • Align the communications plan to the roadmap and when that roadmap flexes the change manager is to manage updates to the communication plan
  • Identify how the changes to the roadmap impact the readiness plan
  • Provide support to improve the initiative ways of working
  • Review meeting cadences and introduce meeting best practice
  • Identify areas of improvement in ways of working across the team
Business Readiness & Adoption
  • Partner with the project managers to develop a business readiness checklist which will be used to determine what readiness looks like and identify who owns the activity to ensure that the stakeholders are able to take on the change required to meet the outcomes of each project
  • Develop adoption metrics and apply to track adoption of change
