Location: Moline, IL (in the beautiful Mississippi River Valley) The team is working a hybrid schedule – 2 days/week in the office (Tues/Thur).Duration: 1+ year to LONG term!Rate: $62/hr on W2 Job Description: Responsible for the planning and implementation the dev-ops for Global Distributed Databases team within established processes. The role provides support and maintenance by planning work and coordination with others to deliver functionality. Gives and receives guidance to and from team members when needed. Work and decisions are performed within established guidelines and with agreement from the team and other stakeholders. Role will be responsible to identify and implement modernization and automation ideas. The role will complete the planned tasks and support functions within the defined matrix. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in Automation and process improvement using Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, PowerShell, Github, Ansible and Terraform. 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code, automation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis 3+ years of experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery 3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure platform technologies Associate level AWS/Azure/Kubernetes certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience with communicating technical decisions and their rationales to our development teams Experience working with cloud databases and distributed environments requiring high performance and scalability Passionate, innovative and have the desire to learn new technologies Accountable, curious, and collaborative Proven experience working in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline InfoWeb is strongly committed to supporting diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace as well as in our recruiting practices.
