Product Marketing plays a central role in the go-to-market process starting at the very beginning of product innovation all the way to executing plans that empower sales and marketing partners. We also understand how our products function, value, and work cross-functionally to encourage product adoption and expansion.What You Do:As a Product Marketing Manager you are a product evangelist and play an integral role in facilitating successful go-to-market strategies for new products and improvements to the existing portfolio. Our team knows our competitors and our buyers better than anyone and backs up strategic insights with market evidence. We drive positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels. We collaborate with partners to support innovative programs that drive adoption and demand. Most importantly, we put the customer first in everything you do.Day-in-the-Life: A typical day may include the following…- Facilitate market research using external resources, competitive intelligence, and customer conversations
- Join forces with the product development team to determine the most profitable course for new and existing products
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to build programs that encourage technology adoption based on data
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop product strategies and launch plans
- Build messaging and collateral that support new business and renewal conversations
- Support teams throughout Payscale with training and tools that help them share the value of PayScale products
- Within 3 months we will work together to have customer conversations and develop a real understanding of your target market.
- Within 6 months you will develop collaborative processes and develop programs to support success metrics including customer adoption and new business.
- Within your first year at PayScale you will be the market specialist in your product based on customer and market intelligence and will be actively participating in product strategy evolution. You have clear metrics in place that drive your success.

Qualifications
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- 3+ yearsproduct marketing experience
- Strong business writing skills, effective storytelling and presentation abilities
- Leadership capabilities with cross-functional teams
- Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
- The ability to be flexible with responsibilities and focus is important in a growing business
- Analytical abilities to track performance and measure success
