The Manager maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patients, patients’ families, and health team members, while maintaining standards of professional business service. The CSU Manager is accountable to the Director of the CSU or CEO for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines. QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or psychology related field, required.
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, required.
Three to five years of experience in health care or management
Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physicians, public, staff and administrations. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer Services experience required.
Working knowledge of computer systems, equipment and processes commonly performed within the CSU area.
Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the Crisis Stabilization Unit
Well versed in billing and collection regulations and requirements by payer
Knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, Commercial and Billing processes.
