Description We are offering an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Transport industry, based in Broadview, Illinois. The role involves handling customer inquiries, processing applications, maintaining customer records, and coordinating with the sales team. Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to schedule appointments for the sales team. Utilize communication skills to convey the value proposition of our services. Accurately record and update client information and scheduling details in our CRM system. Foster strong client relationships through exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate meeting schedules. Address any inquiries or concerns raised by prospective clients. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in the scheduling process. Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics. Utilize skills such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence. Leverage skills in Inside Sales and Order Entry to optimize customer service delivery. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role within the transport industry Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls Demonstrated experience in a call center customer service environment Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently Proficient in email correspondence and order entry Strong skills in scheduling appointments and managing customer inquiries Proven inside sales experience with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products or services Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment High school degree or equivalent.
