Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Lombard, Illinois, within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in customer service and call center operations. Responsibilities: Provide top-notch customer service to customers, ensuring their queries and complaints are addressed promptly and effectively Handle a high volume of inbound calls and resolve customer issues in a professional manner Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints Proactively inform customers about the reason they are receiving a ticket, ensuring they understand it's not an actual fine yet Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service process Utilize strong communication skills to de-escalate situations with upset customers, providing clear and concise information Maintain customer confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.Requirements Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in customer service and call center customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to customer service. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required. Prior experience in a customer service role in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Higher qualification in a relevant field would be a plus.
