Cyber Operations and Resilience Engineer Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cyber Operations and Resilience Engineer for our premier client in Chicago, Illinois. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Technical Requirements and Certifications »- Certified professional. Have current Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
Education and Experience »- Degree/diploma in Information Security or equivalent work experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:Job Responsibilities:- Implement the COR Security Vison and Roadmap.
- Agile Team Member – Participate in planning events, team stand-ups and team sprint planning.
- SOC Service Consultant – work with enterprise SOC and service owners to implement security event telemetry including security event logging, SIEM, SOAR and Threat Intelligence.
- Red Team Testing – plan Red Team test scenarios and track follow-up findings.
- Penetration Testing – Schedule penetration tests per security policy.
- Metrics - Develop and report on US COR Security Service metrics and KPIs.
- Incident and Threat Response – CSIM, lead investigations to find, triage and contain threats.
- Fusion – research current threats and participate in daily Fusion stand-ups providing US Region to discuss external threat levels.
