Responsibilities

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a team that's forging the way in innovation by adopting Cloud technologies for analytics? If so, the Marketplace team may be what you're looking for.

Our team is building out the next generation data warehouse in the cloud called 'Marketplace'. The focus is on migrating analytic data and consumers to AWS. Data consumers include Data Scientists, Power Users and BI Reporting to name a few. The future state will also include integration with other marketplaces, as well as other data sources.

Data Analysts are responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, data design, data modeling, data integration, and ETL activities associated with Marketplace. Data analysts work with their developer peers to model the flattened source data and 'rehydrate' it into a hierarchical structure for ease of consumption by several consumers. The Marketplace being created will also integrate with other products such as Feature Store, Data Virtualization products and Model development.

Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL development skills
  • ETL and data movement skills
  • Solution development and deployment on AWS
  • AWS technologies (ex: Redshift, Lambda)

  • DBA experience on a DBMS (i.e. DB2)
  • Insurance or financial industry data knowledge

SPONSORSHIP: Applicants for this position are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.
