job detailsjob summary:Seeking a BA to join our team. The Business Analyst / Data Analyst will be responsible for working with both the IT and HR project teams on the program, clarifying requirements, liaising with third party vendors and supporting all testing activity.This role will also have ownership of the overall data conversion and content migration approach for the HRIS project and inputs to ensure data is prepared for loading into the new HRIS solution. Define, document and communicate the data conversion and content migration standards for extraction and preparation and testinglocation: DEERFIELD, Illinoisjob type: Contractwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Gathering requirements in the design workshops. Work with business and IT stakeholders (Sponsors, SMEs Architecture, Security etc.) to define and capture the requirements, including functional, non-functional and IT operational (Service) requirements for the project Ensure that requirements/user stories are complete and traceable Liaising with the implementation partner during the build process Follow the functions project delivery methodology and processes consistently, identifying issues and opportunities to promote continuous improvement of the delivery processes Understand and be able to work successfully with both agile and waterfall project lifecyle governance frameworks and processes and with approaches and associated requirements approach Apply the functions requirements approach and guidelines and capture requirements in the appropriate tool Manage changes to scope and requirements ensuring these are evaluated for impact and value they will deliver. Ensure changes are captured and authorised by the relevant stakeholders. Supporting the Solution Architect in the high-level design Supporting with the testing phases throughout the project Ensure wider stakeholders are kept informed of the data conversion and content migration plan and activities throughout the lifecycle of the project. Work with our implementation providers to ensure that data is profiled and transformed as per agreed business rules Responsible for data extract and transformation of WBA data into the new HRIS solution, supporting multiple rounds of data extraction from legacy and global systems Coordinate the data validation work at the end of each migration cycle. Collate feedback on any issues identified and track these issues to resolution.
