Job SummaryDevelops and maintains a formal description of the data and data structures including the data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries and technical metadata.Understand Enterprise Information NeedsDevelop and Maintain the Company Data ModelAnalyze and Align with Other Business ModelsDefine and Maintain the Data Technology ArchitectureDefine and Maintain the Data Integration ArchitectureDefine and Maintain the Data Warehouse and BI ArchitectureDefine and Maintain Enterprise Taxonomies and NamespacesDefine and Maintain the Meta-data ArchitectureMust be proficient with BigData Ingestion/Processing/Transformation technologies generally and associated Cloud technologies specifically. Targeted Cloud Ingestion/Processing/Transformation technologies include Data Factory, Data Bricks, etc.Must be proficient with BigData Storage technologies generally and associated Azure technologies specifically. Targeted BigData Storage technologies include: Azure Blob, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SAL, Azure Cosmos DB, etc. or AWS equivalentsHands-on with Data Modeling and creating Physical Data model for NoSQL.Job ResponsibilitiesConceptualizes the overall data architectural framework for large, complex analysis of data for use across the enterprise.Responsible for analyzing and translating business, application, information, data, reporting, and analytical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.Leverages data expertise to ensure an optimal systems design from a technical performance, efficiency and operating cost perspective.Monitors and evaluates trends and innovations in the data marketplace to determine if they could effectively enhance the performance of internal systems and/or hardware.Designs and implements technical standards relative to the deployed data platforms to ensure their effective maintenance and stable management.From a technical perspective, plans significant upgrades or systems enhancements to improve performance Collaborates with Data Engineers on data model, its maintenance and optimization as well as end-to-end data driven integration strategy.Participates in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and ethics.Optimizes performance of queries and ELT/ETL procedures. Enhances batch routines by optimizing for more modern near real-time capabilities.Creates high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions.Guides data platform architectural decisions and development standards.Technology Stack : DataBricks, Cosmos DB, ETL, Azure Datawarehouse
