The DLP Manager will be directly responsible for all aspects of Data Loss Prevention at TransUnion. The DLP Manager will be responsible for selection, development, testing, deployment, operationalization and evaluation of TU's technical Data Loss Prevention Controls and managing personnel who operate those controls.What You'll Bring:- Previous experience leading globally dispersed teams and mentoring technical associates
- Hands-on experience with DLP security controls and tools governing data-in-motion, data-in-use, and data-at-rest, as well as knowledge of endpoint protection technology
- Hands-on experience conducting DLP operations in the Cloud as well as knowledge of CASB solutions, preferably Netskope or similar products
- Ample knowledge of technology maintenance requirements for DLP solutions coupled with experience identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and exploitations
- Experience with DLP Policy creation and maintenance in at least Netskope or Proofpoint Information Protection
- Demonstrated ability to design holistic DLP capability leveraging multiple technologies across endpoints, web traffic, and email
- A deep understanding of how Transmission Control /Internet Protocol networks (TCP/IP) function
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to represent TransUnion's DLP capabilities to stakeholders, provide direction to DLP team members, and engage with company employees on DLP escalations
- Ability to build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, self-motivation, personal drive and high energy are highly valuable for this position
- Experience of Hybrid DLP solutions for network, endpoint, and data at rest
- Experience utilizing Splunk for data analytics and investigations
- Passionate about innovation and enjoys the challenges of creating something new
- Stays current with evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Desire and ability to integrate DLP capabilities into a comprehensive Insider Threat program
- BS or BA degree preferably in computer or security related field or any combination of equivalent education, experience, and formal training that allows you to meet the requirements of this job
- Experience operating with multiple CASB platforms, DLP solutions, container technologies, APIs and event-driven automation
- Experiencing determining DLP personnel, application and budget requirements to meet organization size, technical complexity, and data holdings
- Experience evaluating technical DLP controls in businesses with revenue streams based on global consumer credit data and comprehensive, diverse public records data
- Any Security related certification(s)
- Ensure DLP Controls adequately meet or exceed the requirements by teaming with Global Legal and Compliance to identify applicable portions of the regulations.
- Supervise acquisition or creation of DLP Controls that effectively satisfy the requirements, and also direct the establishment of periodic control validation tests. The DLP Manager will display validation test results during audit meetings with TU's largest customers and data providers, thus assuring continuation of revenue generating business practices.
- Protect TU's second competitive strength, the proprietary information comprising TU's innovative and differentiated revenue generating processes.
- Support TU's strategic business model of new business acquisitions and continuing evolution of TU's hybrid public-private cloud infrastructure.
