Aon needs to ensure Technology compliance with Schrems II regulations. It needs resources to streamline and accelerate initiatives around Schrems II and facilitate the audit queries/requirements for the related technology controls in place with those regulations.

This role can be located in Chicago, New York, Texas , California or Virtual Chicago ,New York or Texas regions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate a multifaceted and sophisticated Schrems II Privacy compliance program within the technology platform
  • Lead and optimally handle Schrems II compliance requirements and coordinate with the Global Data Privacy team and other internal partners in delivering regulatory mandates.
  • Handling the customer expectation & partnering with internal partners to ensure management of Data Privacy risks and compliance
  • Appropriately analyze Schrems II Data Privacy and Security gaps identified in the audits and participate in remediation of issues with control owner /assurance partners.
  • Maintain regional and local internal partners relationships, meeting schedules, minutes, RACI and partnering accountability.
  • Provide support in using various tools and technologies to maintain regulatory requirements around Data Privacy like OneTrust, ServiceNow etc.
  • Provide support of policy/standards exceptions, report status to regional and local management, and advice on corrective actions.
  • Prepare internal partners presentations for internal partners and senior leadership
  • Understanding of risk and risk assessments.
  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum 8-10 years working experience in area of Data Privacy, Governance, and auditing
    • Strong expertise on Implementation, governance, and auditing experience for Data Privacy regulations such as Schrems II, GDPR and other Data Privacy regulations
    • In depth knowledge of Data Lifecycle Framework and detailed knowledge of IT Auditing principles
    • Knowledge of Data Privacy controls manifestation in large global corporations with regional and local presence is required and good understanding of coordination and facilitation role.
    • Ability to investigate, question and interpret Data Privacy regulatory requirements are required.
    • Prior experience in audit, risk management, governance, Information security and compliance functions.
    • Knowledge of information risk concepts and practices required and understanding of technologies within data governance is required.
    • Experience of working across business units and geographical boundaries to engage IT, business and team members is required and demonstrable experience taking care of ambiguous situations and producing a consistent result with varied input.
    • Project management experience to handle multiple compliance audits at one time.

    Preferred Experience:
    • CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM, ITIL and/or COBIT
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
    • Master's degree desirable
