Database Architect / Modeler - Expert

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Database Architect / Modeler - Expert in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role involves designing and implementing new systems based on specifications from users, business analysts, and management. You will be providing technical advice on database designs and advising management on the efficient use of databases and related software. Responsibilities: Design and implement new systems based on specifications from users, business analysts, and management Utilize your skills in logical and process modeling to drive efficiency Act as a technical advisor in the development of database designs Provide guidance to management on the efficient use of database and new related software Develop large project and business-wide logical data models Create physical database designs from logical data models Maintain database dictionaries and ensure the integration of systems through efficient database design Leverage your experience in Database Administration and Very-large-scale integration Ensure the quality of database designs and systems with your skills in QA Management. Requirements Profound expertise in Database Design and Development, capable of creating and implementing comprehensive database solutions. Demonstrated proficiency in Database Administration, effectively managing data, ensuring security, and optimizing performance. Extensive experience in Process Modeling, developing efficient and accurate process models to support business operations. Proven ability in constructing Logical Data Models, translating business requirements into data structures. Advanced skills in working with Dictionaries, managing and updating data definitions as required. Exceptional knowledge in Very-Large-Scale Integration, capable of handling complex database systems. Solid understanding of QA Management, ensuring the quality and reliability of the database systems. Strong ability to create detailed Specifications for database systems, meeting business needs and technical requirements. Prior experience as a Database Modeler, designing and implementing database architectures for various applications. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the overall data strategy of the organization.
