More about this role

What you need to know about this position: In this role you will lead the development, deployment and sustainability of demand planning processes utilizing advanced statistical modelling. You will design scalable processes while improving forecast accuracy and driving efficiency. The right candidate should be experienced in AI/ML forecast modelling and process design as well as implementation of new ways of working and adoption measures. This person should also be experienced in working closely with data scientists on segmented forecasting approaches, desired outcomes, and appropriate continuous improvement measures. This role is responsible for delivery of forecasts generated through our central analytics team of data scientists. This person should be able to define an individual business unit's as-is state and articulate, through documentation, the to-be state, inclusive of advanced modelling. This person will also be responsible for determining the right set of KPI's both at implementation and in a steady-state to drive continuous improvement and tangible actions for both the business and the data science team.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

• Minimum 10 years in demand planning or data science (specifically forecast modelling)• Minimum 3 years of experience in advanced statistical forecasting environment• Experience implementing strategic initiatives to evolve forecasting and demand capabilities with a proven track record of driving results• Experienced in defining the key forecast causals and related experiments• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with executive management and cross functionally.• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships• Advanced knowledge of SAP forecasting systems is a plus• Advanced knowledge of multiple modelling systems, including SAS and Google Cloud Platform• An understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and principles is advantageous
