Currently hiring a Desktop Support Technician in a full time role. This individual will provide hands-on support for end users onsite and troubleshoot/resolve incidents, problems, and requests related to our endpoint of equipment. He/she will also provide support for IT infrastructure to support effective and efficient technology used at the supported site. We expect first class customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner. Responsibilities : Handles routine problems without assistance. Provides remote support to other facilities across Management Territory as part of their daily role definition. Build, install and maintain endpoints (PCs & MAC) in accordance with IT standards. Provide support for AV and Teleconferencing equipment Partners and collaborates with enterprise support teams and outside vendors to resolve problems or issues. Ability to work with Microsoft Active Directory. SCCM a plus. Inspect received PC devices for proper operation and perform physical cleaning Provide level 2 technical support of assigned applications and hardware Document client incidents in a ticket management system and follow-up on incidents daily Additional Skills & Qualifications:Qualifications Any IT certification, required. 3+ years of experience in a similar role Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programing. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Attention to detail Good organization, time-management, and prioritization Efficient troubleshooting abilities Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening Great customer service and interpersonal skills Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project Excellent written and oral communication skills Familiar with a range of software and hardware Previous technical support role Top Skills Details:Desktop , Windows 10 , Active directory , Windows , Hardware , Imaging, DeploymentAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
