.NET Software Developer

Lisle, IL - Hybrid

8 months contract LOCAL Candidates only The manager wants candidates who are able to come into the office several times a week and as the team gets further into the project more often. Bachelor’s degree required.

Skills/Tools: MUST have• Solid understanding of .NET Technologies, web development, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS• Experience with analyzing and writing SQL stored procedures, queries, and functions• Experience working in collaborative environments and with Agile methodologies. The .NET Technical Analyst will work closely with the Business analysts on the team to deliver best in class solutions to our Service organization for the aftersales business unit. The developer ensures project is delivered on time and within spec using agile methodologies and move forward efficiently while keeping focus on the goals and the business value of the solution. ideal candidate should be local and available to be onsite for planning sessions periodically. This is a hybrid work schedule position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:• Attend daily huddles with the team. Work with team leads, business analysts, subject matter experts (SME), users and stakeholders to understand business needs and implement business solutions that satisfy the business needs.• Work closely with BA team and the business team to ensure quality software solution is built.• Define and analyze solution options that balance business value, usability, and technical feasibility.• Understand the high-level business strategy and apply this knowledge to creation of roadmaps and prioritization of requirements/user stories.• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/customers/vendors through implementation and rollout.• Build trusted relationships with end-users by providing system support and incorporating feedback.• Provides a user-focused approach to all ideas and decisions. Advocates for the user community through understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and processes.

GENERAL EDUCATION, SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThe ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience as a developer, preferably with custom system development and/or vendor software implementations.• Solid understanding of .NET Technologies, web development, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS• Experience with analyzing and writing SQL stored procedures, queries, and functions• Experience working in collaborative environments and with Agile methodologies.• Experience making complex concepts and business problems ‘simple’.• Powerful analytical skillset with the ability to motivate others to share your vision and enthusiasm.• Adaptable, dependable, and dedicated to your products and team.• Familiarity with application architecture, web applications, databases, and other relevant technologies.• Self-starter that likes to get their hands-on and tinker with data and reporting tools.• Excellent writing and listening skills with a proven ability to disseminate information effectively and articulate your thoughts in a clear and concise manner.• Knowledge of cloud technologies preferred.
