Electrical Apprentice Needed ASAP (Commercial Project)

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Helper/Apprentice for an immediate start in Munster, IN!

PAY: $18-$22/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)

SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm

START DATE: 11/12/2025

DURATION: 1-2 weeks

Job Description:

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to install and upgrade lighting systems in a commercial retail setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while contributing to a high-profile commercial renovation.

Responsibilities:

Assist electricians with the installation of new lighting systems and electrical components.

Run and pull wire, install conduit, and support fixture installation.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Handle tools, materials, and equipment responsibly.

Perform other general labor or support tasks as needed on-site.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an electrical apprentice or construction helper preferred.

Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.

Comfortable working on commercial construction sites.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts.

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

PPE Required: Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
