Locations - Peoria, IL / Torrance, CA / Urbandale, IA (working remote initially is fine, but the individual must be willing to relocate after 3 months)Duration - Contract 12 plus monthsOur client needs an Embedded Software Engineer with the following experience: Qualifications:4- 10 years of experience in C programming using design patterns and OOADStrong knowledge in QT, Squish and Google Test FrameworkKnowledge on scripting languages like Python, ShellExperience with embedded Linux and cross compilation tools such as YOCTOExperience with Software debugging tools and issue resolutionKnowledge on communication protocols such as CAN, ISOBUS, SAE J1939, TCP/IPExperience with version control systems such as SVN, Git and Mercurial. Desired Qualifications:Knowledge on AGILE SCRUM methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) Duties:Work closely with systems, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineers to design, develop, and maintain propulsions systems on Equipment Design software architectures in support of hardware requirements Develop software utilizing model based and embedded C methods Ensure functionality of the software by way of virtual verification, on-vehicle testing, and field visits Very strong verbal and written communication skillsEspo CorporationWillowbrook, IL 60527
