Endpoint and Data Protection Engineer

Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an

Endpoint and Data Protection Engineer for our premier client in

Chicago, Illinois.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications »
  • Certified professional. Have current Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GSEC.

Education and Experience »
  • Degree/diploma in Information Security or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience providing coaching and hands-on support to meet team goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
  • Caring and accountable team player.
  • Passionate about developing and growing team members’ abilities.
  • Compliance and regulatory context around industry security standards, SHR, DLP and NIST.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning events and participate in Team Sprint planning.
  • Author and prioritize Service/Team Backlogs.
  • Review and maintain Endpoint and Data Service controls.
  • Incorporate feedback from customers as input into quarterly and annual planning.
  • Work with Risk and Audit teams to align with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Understand the business model and ecosystem around Endpoint and Data Protection products and services.
  • Identify enhancements for Endpoint and Data security solutions.
  • Participate in team standups and help eliminate team blockers to getting work completed.
  • Conduct internal control assessment and gap analysis on Endpoint and Data security services.
  • Understand Data Loss prevention Program and SHR’s.
