- Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.
- Completes work you're leading on time with mentorship and support.
- Capable of using handheld and bench test equipment to obtain test data.
- May make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
- May also develop and maintain record keeping for experiment performed.
- Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.
- Individual usually is assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. Product performance testing).
- Seeks guidance from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in a laboratory testing setting
- Basic computer skills such as word processing, data entry, excel, and e-mail
- Basic science and/or math skills
- Experience with troubleshooting laboratory equipment (e.g., Instron, etc.) and providing solutions
- Experience using good documentation practices
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Education/Experience
- High School Degree, or GED
- Previous experience working in a laboratory testing setting
- Basic Microsoft Office skill with Word, Excel, Outlook
