Experienced Head Chef needed for newly-opened, high-end restaurant in a downtown Evanston boutique hotel
Must have a strong / long history of an experienced restaurant head chef – both cooking and running all kitchen and staff needs.
Requirements / Responsibilities:
Have at least 5 years experience as an experienced restaurant head chef running a high-volume, large kitchen.
Ability to cook & prepare or learn / adjust to cooking different cuisines – such as Greek, American, Italian, etc.
Supervise all operations of the kitchen, its cook staff (sous chefs), back of house (BOH) staff, bussers/food runners, etc.
Have effective communication skills.
Lives close to Evanston or the north side of Chicago.
Have stable history of employment.
Able to order all food and supplies
