Working with the EHS and Facilities team to complete compliance and relevant regulations items and perform planned and unplanned maintenance. Participate in Kaizens and help build and perform modifications during the event, as needed.This position is part of the EHS and Facilities located in Romeoville and will be on-site.In this role, a typical day will look like:· Participating in Kaizen (continuous improvement) events· Assisting in Facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance· Troubleshooting of problems· Coordinating contractor management programs· Operating fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, grindersThe essential requirements of the job include:· Ability to help design, build and try-storm ideas with Creform or other materials.· 1 or more years related experience (i.e.: mechanical installation, etc. as it relates to the job) in an appropriate manufacturing, engineering, or facility environment depending on area of focus.· Previous Project Management skillsAt Hach (www.hach.com), we ensure water quality for people around the world, and every associate plays a vital role in that mission.
