Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will support members of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Data & Analytics functions to complete the Peer/Competitor Analysis and Benchmarking project throughout the internship. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with designing peer/competitor dashboards and defining key metrics to keep a pulse on our performance vs. our peers and the broader market.Improve reporting through automation, streamlining and visualization.Present data in ways that can be used to clearly communicate our performance vs. our peers to investors, analysts, rating agencies, banks, the Board of Directors, and to drive internal investment decisions.Assist with various reports & requests from our businesses and corporate leaders.Assist in other special projects as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:In progress of completing a bachelor’s degree (1-2 years from graduating) in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant degree.Minimum GPA of 3.0 SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to work independently and as a team member under deadline pressures; set priorities; respond to changing demands from multiple sources.Strong desire to learn new technologies and drive for continuous improvement.Ability to effectively present financial data to management and business partners.Analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated planning and organizations skills.Exhibit intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, critical and independent thinking skills, and a motivation to learn.Competency with Microsoft Excel
