Financial System Analyst

Location: Riverwoods, IL Salary: Depends on Experience Description: HYBRID to Riverwoods, IL (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH)

• Application portfolio management experience
• Possibly some light data modeling experience
• 4+ years' experience- HM does not want to see overqualified candidates anywhere between 5-10 years' experience is the sweet spot.
• General system knowledge
• An understanding of the IT and application space
• Experience and knowledge of APM tools- the team uses LeanIX (ServiceNow is comparable to this tool)
• ServiceNow experience
• Excellent communicator, this candidate will be communicating back in forth with multiple levels of people and different departments, providing guidance on application use

• Perform maintenance of application metadata
• Manage/monitor data integrity by performing problem identification & resolution of issues related to financial applications
• Update reports for changing business needs
• Interface with user community for trouble shooting
• Provide data insight, extraction, and analysis as required to meet the needs of internal customers
• Maintain and update system documentation
• Participate in testing applications relating to upgrades and application/system modifications
• Promote a risk-aware culture that proactively seeks to mitigate risk where appropriate

• 4+ years of demonstrated work experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance or systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Management or related field of study
• MS Office (especially Excel)
• Demonstrated ability to own processes
• Must be able to interact effectively with varying levels of management and have the ability to work independently
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines within short timeframes a must

• Experience with ServiceNow or Application Portfolio Management tools
