Role Description: The

Food Scientist IV must have at least 5+ years of experience. This is a Research and Development (R&D) Food Scientist role leading and executing projects for the Canada Zone, focused on Salad Dressings and Dips. For this role, you should have a proven record of executing work plans and driving for results in a variety of challenging and complex settings. You will be leading/executing technical projects to meet business needs. Proven communication and teamwork skills are essential in this role, which operates in a dynamic and cross-functional environment. You must also have a technical background and be able to apply prior learning or scientific principles to new situations. This position requires you to manage multiple tasks concurrently and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously. Exhibiting a collaborative mindset and applying innovative solutions are a must.

Key Components of the Role: - Work with cross functional teams, acting as product R&D lead to drive execution across projects - Work with suppliers to identify acceptable materials while collaborating with cross-functions and leveraging knowledge of food safety principles - Execute benchtop development, qualification and commercialization while working closely with cross-functional team members in laboratory and production environments - Expertise in project management, designing and executing tests, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, documenting and communicating results, qualification, commercialization, and scale up of new product development - Translate research findings into meaningful business opportunities and communicate to cross-functional teams - Adapt and apply scientific principles to new situations/products - Specification creation and updating, with attention to detail

Qualifications: - BS/MS in in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Chemistry or related field - 5+ years of product development experience - Excellent understanding of food science, ingredient science, and emulsion science - Proven expert knowledge in flavor/ingredient interactions - Proven record of developing and executing work plans for fast paced and complex project scopes - Excellent verbal, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills - High degree of autonomy - Willingness to travel 20%

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
