The FP&A Manager will be part of the Business Advisory Services team within the Corporate Controller Group. As a part of the Global Finance team, this role provides financial expertise, direction, and strategic thought partnership to another Global department.This role offers a unique opportunity to provide financial expertise, direction, and strategic thought partnership to our cutting-edge Global Technology team.Responsibilities: Act as one of the Finance Business partnersAssist with special projects (e.g., act as ongoing Finance SME on large workstreams, build cost-benefits analyses, advise on cost savings, etc.)Understand, report on, and explain spend drivers within Global Finance and leadership; this work will require an individual to operate at the executive-level and the lowest level of detailEstablish relationships with both VPs and their teams to create clarity and enable decision-making related to budget, i.e., correlate large amounts of financial data into simple, significant cross-functional business discussionsAct as a key contributor/creator of the McDonald’s Corporate annual budget (once per year, before the year begins) and McDonald’s Corporate forecast (multiple times during the year) – the two processes work together to plan for and manage spendOversee the month-end close process, including issue resolution, budget owner management, variance analysis, and monthly reportingLead all components of Global Finance spend – including Operating Expenses Capital Expenditures – and ensure appropriate representation on the Income Statement and Balance SheetInteract, influence, and build strong relationships with all areas of the Corporate Controller Group, Technology, and other McDonald’s departments, building open lines of communication and trustBenefits eligible: Yes

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 – 143,900 / per year
