Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper in the construction industry, based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The role involves managing financial records for a construction subcontractor, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and handling financial transactions. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and billing, and cash flow analysis Handle and process construction liens and waivers, including G702/G703 documents Conduct union payroll operations proficiently Use QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting Manage commercial construction projects' accounting, ensuring all finances are accurately recorded and reported Organize and maintain accurate customer credit records Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Bill change orders and manage the percentage of completion billing Handle AIA Billing, Billing, and Collections efficiently Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards in the construction industry. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis Knowledge of Liens and Lien Waivers Experience in Commercial Construction Projects Understanding of Construction Accounting Familiarity with percentage (%) of completion calculations Experience in AIA Billing Skill in handling Billing and Collections Proficiency in using QuickBooks Enterprise Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
