JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of a Developer is to work with the business to innovate. Rather than be an order-taker, the Engineer works with Product Managers, designers and business stakeholders to discover the best solution to address critical business needs. This is done through constant testing, iteration, and a customer obsessed mindset.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

PAIRED PROGRAMMING
  • Must be comfortable pairing
  • Must have strong communication skills
TEST-DRIVEN DESIGN
  • Must have experience working in a Test-Driven Development setting previously
DEV-OPS
  • Must be comfortable using Jenkins to manage deployments
APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE
  • Engineers take ownership of the application, infrastructure and integration architecture they develop upon
  • The more diverse your skillset, the better
SUPPORT WHAT YOU BUILD
  • Engineers are expected to support the products they work on
  • Engineers are empowered to do automation and self-healing application development
Essential Requirements:
  • ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Very strong Javascript background
    • Strong background in unit testing, e2e testing, and TDD
    • Experience with Typescript
    • Experience with React
    • Micro Frontend and/or Microservice experience
    • Bonus: Experience with React-Native
    • Bonus: Experience with Cypress
    • Bonus: AWS or other cloud service experience
    • Bonus: Python, Node.js, Java experience
