Job Title: General Labor

Location: Pontiac, IL (work is outside city limits)

Pay: $19/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7 am to 3 pm

NOTE: Please note that the job is around Peru, IL and access to reliable transportation is required to report to work on time.

About the Role:

MGR Workforce is hiring temporary field laborers to support underground utility locating investigations—work is entirely above ground. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and learning new technical skills.

What You'll Do:

Assist with Team working above-ground for the underground utility locating investigations

Operate and handle basic field equipment

Work outdoors for extended hours in varying weather conditions

Training Provided:

Full training before starting on site

5-hour online course (can be completed on your own time)

On-the-job training once you start in the field

What We're Looking For:

Comfortable working outdoors for long periods

Willingness to learn and use new technology

Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

Reliable transportation to job sites near Peru, IL

PPE Requirements (mandatory)

Composite toe boots (no steel toes)

Hi-vis vest or shirt

Hard hat

Safety glasses

Flame resistant (FR) clothing
