POSITION SUMMARY:

The Gift Card Operations Manager role is responsible for the ongoing performance of the Ulta Beauty Gift Card programs. The objectives of the programs are to drive sales, increase brand awareness, drive trips, and help drive Ulta business strategies. This individual will be accountable for operational activities; including executing gift card engagement and guest experience strategies, campaigns, and communications to increase gift card sales and trips to Ulta. Additional responsibilities include managing the marketing calendar, analyzing performance, creating content to educate and engage the field associates on best practices, and assisting the Senior Manager of Gift Card on execution of strategic initiatives.

This individual will need to work with and lead cross-functional internal and external partners to execute on strategy. Expert-level relationship building, and communication skills are a must. We are looking for an individual that can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. The role will be accountable for growing topline growth.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Executes and manages key strategic projects driving Gift Card strategy across channels by working on projects and key initiatives to drive sales, trips and awareness.
  • Execute and manage marketing campaigns and communications, gift card contests, and promotional offers both internally and externally.
  • Build relationships and collaborate extensively with peers and leadership, internal partners (Store Operations, Finance, Guest Services, etc.), and external partners (Processor, Aggregators, B2B partners, etc.) to drive program growth.
  • Serve as a Gift Card program subject matter expert and works collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
  • Analyze new business opportunities and provide recommendations based on insights and data.
  • Liaise with Store Operations and Guest Services to monitor and action guest feedback, while leveraging knowledge, competitive insights and industry trends to consistently advocate for the guest experience.
  • Execute operational activities, find efficiencies, document and improve processes to enhance program operational effectiveness.
  • Serve as primary business contact for daily operational activities associated with Gift Card program.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager of Gift Card on strategic initiatives as required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing / Business).
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Strong project / time management skills and ability to prioritize independently to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally; internally and externally, to deliver results.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency with aptitude for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.
