Senior Consultant-Intelligence(FT Role)Summary:In this role, you will assist in the development of thought leadership deliverables and analytic insights leveraging our company's data assets on topics that will inform the enterprise and system of care strategy of our member organizations.Responsibilities:

  • Research, synthesize and write succinct reports on topics that are related to hospitals and health systems' enterprise and system of care strategies. Research methods and sources include the following:
    • Utilize scientific literature, health policy reports and industry journals along with Client's existing internal resources and expert knowledge base.
    • Leverage Client's proprietary healthcare databases and analytical tools.
    • Conduct telephone interviews with health system administrators and healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrate solid project management skills and work closely with Client's subject matter experts to create high-quality member-facing deliverables (including PowerPoint slides and Excel analytics models) for product offerings to support our member's success.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the execution and delivery of original thought leadership and tactical solutions for our members. Showcase this through various mediums: publications, planning tools, webinars, conferences, blog posts, slide decks, calculators, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree (e.g. MS, MPH, MHA, MBA) a plus.
  • Five plus years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience in strategy development required, preferably in a health system or health care consulting company.
  • Some experience working with health care analytics required. This should include experience with health care data (ICD-9, CPT, DRG) within a hospital, health care payer, or health care services organization.
  • Work experience on ambulatory service (clinics, surgery centers, diagnostic centers, ED), digital health or post-acute care strategy and finance a plus.
  • Ability to develop analytics models and conceptual frameworks for client projects and proficiency in advanced analytics software - Tableau, Alteryx, SQL & SAS / SPSS preferred.
  • Proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects preferred.
