Help Desk Analyst

Description We are offering a role for a Help Desk Analyst situated in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This role is primarily focused on providing technology support for end users, serving as the first point of contact for technical issues, and managing support request tickets. This contract employment opportunity is within the telecom industry where you'll be leveraging your skills in areas such as Chromebook, Computer Imaging, Password Changes, Password Reset, Basic Troubleshooting, Hardware Troubleshooting, Basic Network Troubleshooting, and Asset Management.Responsibilities: Provide onsite, phone, and remote support to technology users as required. Assist with Chromebook deployment, including imaging, asset tagging, and troubleshooting. Handle password resets for network and email accounts. Create, monitor, track, schedule, update, and close work orders within the ticketing system in a timely manner. Ensure problems are resolved and customers are updated on the progress. Develop in-depth product knowledge to resolve customer questions and issues and contribute to the Knowledge Base. Provide basic computing device technical support. Assist with basic device network connectivity. Provide application software support. Maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in the maintenance of records and inventory. Assist with device deployment and imaging when requested. Requirements Must possess knowledge and experience in Chromebook operations and management Proficient in Computer Imaging techniques and strategies Ability to handle Password Changes and Password Reset tasks efficiently Familiarity with Basic Troubleshooting methods for various technical issues Skilled in Hardware Troubleshooting, able to diagnose and resolve hardware-related problems Experience in Basic Network Troubleshooting, with the ability to identify and rectify network-related issues Demonstrated experience in Asset Management, capable of tracking and managing company assets effectively.
