The Task Force consists of programs that focus on areas covering a range of global health issues and ethics and building durable public health systems that serve all people. All of our programs have an end goal in sight of eliminating diseases and protecting the health of populations.The role will be responsible for providing first-level support for help desk requests. Builds and setups desktops, and related hardware and software.JOB DESCRIPTION:
Implements micro-based desktop, servers, and related hardware and software.
implements workstation connectivity.
Assists with system enhancements and modifications.
Provides technical support and documentation to meet business objectives.
Troubleshoots desktop and laptop connectivity problems.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with system enhancements and modifications.
Provides technical support and documentation to meet business objectives.
Collaborates with other team members to improve IT processes and recommends system modifications and other improvements.
Assists in other IT areas by providing support services.
May purchase hardware and software applications.
Leads and/or partners with others on assigned IT-related projects.
May train users on various applications and hardware needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of information technology experience OR a bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of Google Workspace applications and administration (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.); ZOOM, Microsoft Office Suite (365, 2016, 2010, etc.); Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 11, 2017); Microsoft active directory is preferred.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.
