Hematology/ Blood Bank Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Blood Bank Technologist to join the Laboratory team at a mid size hospital. Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
• 3 or more years of Blood Bank/Hematology experience.
• performs complex professional technical and analytical work in a Blood Bank/Transfusion Services department.
• Ability to perform all testing and maintenance procedures within the section as needed.
• Responsible for performing equipment maintenance, quality control and/or calibration of Blood Bank equipment and properly documenting actions taken based on approved schedule.
