HR Specialist

Description Opportunity to join a dynamic human resources team for a firm located near Hoffman Estates. The Human Resources Systems Specialist proactively supports multiple functions of the Human Resource Department. The individual will report to the Head of HR and will work closely with the HR team. Experience with ADP HRIS. Client offers a flexible hybrid schedule. Pay range $80-$85kBenefits include: medical, dental, vision, short term and long term disability, 401k, PTO and sick time, flexible spending and HSA.Recruiter: Connie StathopoulosEssential duties:

Conduct employee life cycle database updates

Ensures compliance with Form I-9

Process verification of employment requests

Manage Employee Excellence Program

Manage annual employee engagement survey

Process data requests for internal departments

Perform recurring audits on HR systems and databases as needed

Triage office mail and HR department email

Support HR and Compensation & Benefits teams as needed

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Preferred 3-7 years of Human Resource experience in a corporate environment

Proficiency in ADP

Familiarity with background check and drug screen third party systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines· Proven experience of communicating professionally with internal and external customers

Proven organizational skills, with high attention to detail and flexibility with shifting priorities

Solid attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High level of integrity and proven ability to maintain and protect confidentiality

Ability to work independently and in a team
