HVAC Installer Job Summary:
HVAC company looking for a hard-working, dedicated HVAC Installer to join our growing team. The HVAC Installer is responsible for installation of equipment including: rooftop units, condensors, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, capacity controls, semi-hermetic compressors, split systems, building controls, etc
As an HVAC installer, you have the freedom to travel from job to job. If you are self-motivated, good at problem-solving, like working with your hands and enjoy meeting new people every day, this is the job for you. At our company, our installers are tasked with working on refrigeration, ventilation, cooling and heating systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in skilled HVAC and working knowledge of safety practices, codes and regulations.
Knowledge of automated temperature control and industry standard HVAC control strategies.
Ability to operate power tools, gauges, and diagnostic or specialized equipment or software used in the trade.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, or work orders.
Ability to work safely and productively.
Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and to convey instructions to and from others.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with office staff, co-workers, mechanical engineers and other professionals when needed.
Work independently with limited direct supervision.
Ability to maintain simple and concise records and prepare accurate reports.
