This role as a Hybrid Direct Hire Database Admin in Chicago, IL will be responsible for managing and optimizing processes necessary to ensure systems meet the performance and revenue goals for the Association. In addition to overseeing the technology stack, the Manager reports to and works directly with the Director of Business Technology to support all database and technology efforts across the association including initiatives for Events, Membership, and Programs. This is a Hybrid role, 3 days a week On-site.Responsibilities:- Manage the integration and optimization of business/organizational technology stack, including but not limited to:
- Association Management System (iMIS)
- Database Administration (MS SQL 2014)
- Learning Management System (BlueSky)
- Web Content Management System (Umbraco)
- Email Marketing Management System (Informz/Higher Logic)
- Marketing/Sales Lead Management System (HubSpot)
- Event Management System (Aventri)
- Webinar Platform (GotoWebinar)
- Ensure systems are meeting strategic goals and member needs
- Work closely with all teams to optimize and find technology efficiencies
- Help departments use technology efficiently
- Build quality assurance and data maintenance processes
- Develop dashboards and reports as needed and monitor KPIs to assess performance
- Use stakeholders feedback to inform, train and provide recommendations to enhance
- current and future technology needs.
- Ability to work effectively with 3rd party technology vendors to provide system solutions
- and support
- Optimize existing systems to ensure we are maximizing capabilities, partnering with key
- internal stakeholders to ensure systems are meeting Association objectives
- Maintain a healthy membership database, performing regular data cleanliness
- procedures, and overseeing database growth and list management
- Develop and maintain SOPs for business technology continuity and training
- Proven experience with association information tool iMIS
- Integration experience with multiple iMIS add-ons , such as Informz, Aventri, Path (Blue
- Sky).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft SQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of database integration, maintenance, and optimization
- Minimum 3 years experience; association experience preferred
- Bachelor s degree required
- Proficient with Microsoft product suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with Asana or similar project management system
- Can develop procedures to ensure data integrity and quality
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)

- Willing to commute to the Downtown Chicago office up to 3 x s per week
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with Members and senior leadership
