Job DescriptionThe I&C Engineer at CF Industries plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise and guidance for Instrument and Electrical (I&E) maintenance across Distribution Facilities. This position involves overseeing project design, installation, and documentation, as well as supervising external contractors. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting I&E equipment, training personnel, and establishing preventative maintenance programs, all while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Provide project design, installation, and associated documentation for I&E systems.
Install and maintain Instrument & Electrical equipment throughout Distribution Facilities.
Assist engineering and other I&E personnel on various projects as needed.
Supervise external Instrument & Electrical contractors during major work.
Develop and maintain facility process documentation such as P&IDs and electrical prints.
Train operations personnel in troubleshooting Instrument & Electrical equipment.
Establish preventative maintenance programs for Instrument & Electrical equipment, including recordkeeping.
Provide electrical work safety training for operations personnel.
