IAM Sr Engineer, you will report directly to the US IT leader.

This role can be located in Chicago, New York, Florida or Virtual Chicago ,New York or Florida regions.

Your impact as a IAM Sr Engineer

Job Description:
  • Responsible for crafting, integrating, testing, and supporting IAM solutions with business applications and other SaaS solutions
  • Partners with technology and business teams to serve as a subject matter authority and trusted adviser on IAM solutions based on business needs, industry standard methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Protects critical applications, data, and systems from unauthorized access while handling the identities and access of users both inside and outside the organization
  • Collaborates with the IAM team to assess security risks and identity long-term strategy recommendations
  • Provides input into architectural design of IAM systems and complete the IAM's program roadmap
  • Ensures the maintenance, patching, operating, and monitoring of IAM systems
  • Troubleshoots, supports and resolves IAM system incidents, problems and changes, as the need arises
  • Ability to provide leadership when resolving IAM technical issues

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience crafting and implementing identity and access management solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with the implementation and integration of SSO and MFA technologies from both a workforce (internal) and client perspective, preferably with Okta and Microfocus (NetIQ) Access Manager / eDirectory products
  • Experience in current security standards and protocols, including but not limited to SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth / OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, RADIUS, and Kerberos
  • Strong experience in analyzing logs and identifying problems with authentication and authorization
  • Strong experience integrating enterprise SaaS solutions such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and Amazon
  • Intermediate experience using REST API's and JSON
  • Intermediate experience with security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, ISO27001, and SOC2
  • Programming experience with Java, .Net C#, Perl, or PowerShell is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate technical subjects to a broad range of internal partners
  • Possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Extraordinarily self-motivated, effective multi-tasking, and thrives in a team environment
  • Ability to produce detailed IAM documentation and process flows
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills and time management

  • SQL Server (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS)
