Serves as a leader, resource and educational consultant on infections and communicable disease prevention and control. Serves to improve best practices in clinical care related to infection prevention and disease control. A Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field is preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience in infection control or related clinical disciplines.Certification in infection control is preferred upon hire or achieved within 1 year of starting. Previous management experience is preferred. Working knowledge of statistical data analysis and interpretation of regulatory guidelines is required.
