As an integral member of the United Steel and Fasteners team you will be the major point of contact for our customers and prospects. This important role requires someone with a friendly personality that customers enjoy working and communicating with. Sales experience is preferred but we will train the right individual. You will work closely with our purchasing and shipping departments.
Responsibly and Duties:
Handle inbound customers calls and emails
Handle new customer inquiries received through our website
Enter sales orders and follow up status of order with our shipping department
Resolve customer issues and inquires
Establish and maintain friendly relations with customers
Qualifications and Skills:
Fastener experience is a plus but not required
Great people skills
Excellent phone and computer skills
Ability to work individually in certain situations
Organizational skills
Ability to multitask and resolve customer conflicts if they arise
Computer proficient, including Outlook and Excel
