Description We are in search of an Interim Accounting Manager to bring leadership, guidance, and support to our Finance Operations teams located in Chicago, Illinois. This role will be focused on optimizing, standardizing, and enhancing finance operations processes in alignment with our global strategies and objectives. This role offers a fixed term employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Act as a leader and mentor to two AP Managers and two AR Managers, providing support and problem-solving assistance to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with the Global Head of Finance Operations and leadership team to implement the vision and strategy for finance operations, promoting a service-driven culture. Foster a high standard of customer service and proactive team dynamics, encouraging a "one team" approach across regions and management structures. Ensure adherence to defined roles, responsibilities, and key finance processes, including vendor statement reconciliations, timely cash allocation, debt chasing, and issue escalation for resolution management purposes. Take responsibility for compliance with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and internal audit protocols within Finance Operations. Oversee the maintenance of controls, policies, and procedures related to segregation of duties, transaction management, and supporting documentation. Drive the development of a high-performing, globally cohesive finance operations team and establish best-in-class processes. Support business growth, acquisitions, and process scalability through effective finance operations management. Requirements

Proven track record of leading finance operations teams (such as AP, AR, or shared service centers) within a global organization.

Demonstrated success in managing delivery-focused teams, with a hands-on, "can-do" approach when needed.

Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive results while engaging and partnering with diverse stakeholders.

Naturally collaborative leadership style with a keen determination to achieve shared objectives and team success.

Experience managing teams in a multinational environment with geographically dispersed functions.

A proactive mindset with a commitment to process improvement and a passion for continuous learning.

Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
