Description We are in search of an 2nd SHIFT (2pm - 11pm) Inventory Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in THORNTON, Illinois, United States. As an Inventory Clerk, your primary role will involve managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling process orders, and communicating effectively with various departments to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate processing and documentation of production reports. Reconcile process orders of finished product for each production run. Manage raw and packaging materials for each production run. Verify and correct all returns, ensuring the accuracy of inventory. Communicate effectively with shift leads and supervisors for any process order discrepancy. Investigate any inventory issues that are found during operation and report all discrepancies. Monitor all staging locations utilized during daily operations. Report all daily activities and notes in a shift summary. Utilize MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for inventory management and tracking. Perform cycle count and daily production tasks to maintain inventory accuracy 2nd Requirements Proficiency in using MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is required. Familiarity with Cycle Count processes is a must. Ability to handle Daily Production tasks efficiently. Experience in conducting Annual Inventory is necessary. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field would be a plus. Knowledge of inventory management software and databases. Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary. Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or overtime if needed.
