Job SummaryThe IOP & Adolescent Programming Therapist is responsible for providing therapy services to children and adolescents, through intensive outpatient program, intensive summer programming, group programming, and outpatient clinical services. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, and Quality and Compliance responsibilities. Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

Providing group therapy to clients in a safe and therapeutic milieu

Providing individual therapy to clients, both in intensive programming and outpatient clients

Assessing clients on a daily basis for safety, ADL's, and mental status

Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in clients

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to inform facilitation of group therapy sessions

Relaying relevant clinical information from group sessions to other team members

Developing creative program material and curriculum focusing on CBT/DBT, expressive therapies and experiential skills while adjusting group therapy content, as needed, to fit clients needs

Organizing and maintaining clinical group material

Tracking frequency of skills taught in program to ensure full breadth of CBT/DBT skills are provided

Complete IMCANS assessments to determine appropriate level of care

Completing clinical documentation on a daily basis

Communicating client progress, interactions and presentation to relevant clinical staff

Participating in weekly supervision (either group or individual)

Participating in professional development activities

Provides high-quality service and maintains direct service hours per month

Qualifications

Have two years post master's experience (required)

Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) (required)

Hold the following licenses or certifications: LPC, or in the process of obtaining LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, (preferred)

Have prior experience working with adolescents in a partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting (preferred)

Bilingual preferred
